One of the most cosmopolitan islands of Greece , Corfu is located on the northen side of the Ionian Sea.

Due to its strong historical connection with Europe, this was among the first Greek islands to open to tourism. It charms visitors with the Venetian style, the lovely beaches and the relaxing feeling. Paleokastritsa, Sidari, Kassiopi and Acharavi are nice tourist places on the northern side of the island, while the inland is dotted with lovely villages and many sightseeings. Apart from the wonderful beaches, the highlight of the island is the Venetian style that reminds very much of Italian towns, like Venice and Florence. Corfu holidays can be a great experience for families, couples or group of friends, as it has something special for everyone.

    Corfu /Old Town -Corfu Town is the capital of Corfu (Kerkyra in Greek) one of the most beautiful and elegant towns in Greece. Built on a promontory, the town displays a unique architecture which is strongly influenced from the different dominations, such as the Sicilian, the Venetian, the French and the English ones. ll that amalgam of architectural style gives to Corfu Town a unique charm, character and atmosphere that reminds of the glamorous Italian town of Naples. Having been greatly expanded during the Venetian times, Corfu is separated into a northern and a southern section. One of the most beautiful buildings boarding the square is the Liston building which stands at the western side of the Esplanade and was built during the French occupation. Many other interesting monuments adorn Corfu Town, such as the Old and the New Venetian Fortresses, the Town Hall Square, the Square of the Saints, the Ionian Academy and the Palace of Saint Michael and Saint Georges. The town is filled with beautiful Venetian neighborhoods such as the Kanoni area where are the ruins of the Ancient city or the beautiful area of Mandouki.

    Paleokastritsa Beach -: Paleokastritsa is arguably the most famous picturesque village of the island of Corfu located 25 km northwest of Corfu Town. The village of Paleokastritsa offers a plethora of local taverns overlooking the blue bay and six sandy and pebbled beaches which are scattered all around the area. The main beach of Paleokastritsa is quite small but extremely known for its cold waters and delightful environment. It is considered as one of the best beaches in the Greek islands. It is surrounded by many bars and taverns therefore it is rarely quiet during the day. The area offers some excellent sea views.

    Kanoni & Mouse Island/ Pontikonissi- The location of Kanoni with the church of Panagia Vlacherna below and the Mouse Island (Pontikonissi) are the most famous and photographed spots of Corfu. Kanoni is actually a quarter of Corfu Town, just a couple of km from the city centre. Some steps go down the hill from Kanoni and you reach the small church of Panagia Vlacherna. A narrow 300m passage way connects the island with the church.. Fishing boats depart frequently from the church and go to the legendary Mouse Island, just 5 min boat ride. In the centre of the Mouse Island, there is the 13th century church of Pantokrator. This church celebrates on August 6th with a large religious panigiri for Corfu.

    Old Fortress - is located only few steps from Spianada Square. It has nice sights to explore inside the walls and gives great view to the Ionian Sea.

    Agios Gordios Beach -located on the western side of this Ionian island, Agios Gordis is a large sandy beach with amazing waters. It is lined up with many beach accommodations and taverns.

    Canal d’ Amour -A short walk from the centre of Sidari, in the northern side of the island, is the famous Canal d' Amour, also known as the Channel of Love. This is a lovely place with wild rock formations

    Achillion Palace - Achilion Palace, also known as the Palace of Sissy, is a true gem in the centre of the island. It was constructed in the late 19th century by the Empress of Austria Elisabeth

    Saint Spyridon Church -The church of Saint Spyridon is considered the protector of the island. It is found in the Old Town, just few steps from Liston Avenue. Its bell tower is the tallest from all churches of the town

    Kassiopi Village - Located on the north eastern side, the seaside village of Kassiopi is surrounded by lush greenery and lovely beaches. At the port of Kassiopi you will find delicious taverns.

    Day cruise to Paxi Island -In summer day cruises depart from the old port of the Town to the wonderful islands of Paxi and Antipaxos. These two islands are famous for their exotic waters
